HEALTH CARE: MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VISION OPTIONS
J&T offers full-time employees a flexible and comprehensive choice of medical, dental and vision coverage through a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO). Nationwide coverage is provided by various networks. Participants may choose between two (2) Health Care Options: Medical, Dental and Vision and Dental and Vision Only. There are two (2) payment options. The Standard Plan pays 80% of "In-Network" and 60% of "Out-of-Network" services. The Comprehensive Plan pays 90% of "In-Network" and 70% of "Out-of Network" services. For both Health Care Options, coverage is effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire and ends on the last day of the month in which employment is terminated.
HEALTH CARE: FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA)
The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan provides all full-time employees with the opportunity to be reimbursed, up to a limit, on a pre-tax basis for certain medical and dependent care expenses. The FSA plan has two (2) components. The Healthcare Spending Account covers healthcare expenses that are not reimbursed by a health care plan. The Dependent Care Spending Account covers expenses for daycare and other qualifying dependents.
HEALTH CARE: EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available at no additional cost to participants in either of the Health Care Options. This program provides confidential services ranging from counseling for emotional problems to assistance for financial planning, child and elder care services.
HEALTH CARE: HEALTH ADVOCATE SERVICE
The Health Advocate Service is available at no additional cost to participants in either of the Health Care Options. This service is intended to help solve problems that one might encounter while dealing with the healthcare system.
401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN
All full-time and part-time employees 21-years or older are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Retirement Plan as of the first day worked and are 100% vested immediately. J&T will match a portion of the employee's contribution to the plan. This is a qualified retirement plan that is administered by John Hancock.
EXECUTIVE RETIREMENT PLAN
Full-time and part-time employees who meet certain guidelines established by management are also eligible to participate in the Executive Nonqualified "Excess" Plan that is administered by the Principal Financial Group.
J&T offers tuition assistance to employees who successfully complete pre-approved work-related courses and seminars. Management approves the level of tuition assistance on a case-by-case basis.
J&T observes the federal holiday schedule of ten (10) paid holidays throughout the year.
Full-time employees accrue Annual Leave starting at a set number of days per year which will then increase during years of continuous employment.
